Shehu Sani, a former senator, believes the terms “World’s Richest Man” or “Africa’s Richest Man” are misleading.
According to Sani, the concept of a single richest individual is flawed, as no one person can support an entire nation.
He expressed that to deserve the title of the richest, one should have the means to provide for everyone’s basic needs.
In a post on his verified Facebook account, he stated: “There is no such title as the world’s richest man or Africa’s richest man. A rich man is just a rich man for himself and his family.”
He further explained, “You can’t deem someone the world’s richest if they don’t fulfill your basic needs, like feeding you or covering your expenses. No one is wealthy enough to sustain the entire human population.”
