Mr Ibu
The funeral service for the late veteran actor, John Okafor, known as Mr Ibu, is currently taking place in his hometown of Amuri, Nkanu West Local Government Area in Enugu State.

Mr Ibu passed away in March 2024 due to cardiac arrest in Lagos.
The actor’s death was a result of complications from the amputation of one of his legs.
Originally from Enugu, he gained fame in 2004 starring in the movie “Mr Ibu” alongside the late Ita Iheme.
Having appeared in over 200 Nollywood films including ‘Mr Ibu,’ ‘Mr. Ibu and His Son,’ ‘Coffin Producers,’ ‘Husband Suppliers,’ ‘International Players,’ ‘Mr Ibu in London,’ and ‘Police Recruit’ among others.
The IMT Enugu graduate passed away at the age of 62.
