PDP’s Umo Eno Elected Governor of Akwa Ibom State

Pastor Umo Eno of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared the winner of the Akwa Ibom State governorship election. The results, collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), showed that Eno won with a total of 356,348 votes. Bassey Albert of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) came in second with 136,262 votes, and Akan Udofia of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came in third with 129,602 votes.
