Descending down this road, you witness the stunning emerald sea against a backdrop of meandering mountains. Many have likened this scene to something from a music video, sparking curiosity about its exact location.
Nguyen Thi Thuc Uyen (22, from Ho Chi Minh City), the video’s poster, disclosed that this picturesque road is situated on Xuan Thuy Street, popularly known as the “long slope.”
“If you inquire with the locals in Mui Ne about the ‘long slope,’ they’ll gladly point you in the right direction,” Uyen mentioned.
The video was filmed on July 10. Uyen admitted that she wasn’t aware of the “holy slope” before the trip. Fortunately, her travel companion was familiar with the spot and advised her to have her camera ready to capture the moment.
“Previously, I used to drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau to enjoy the seaside. With the convenience of the highway, it now only takes about three hours by car to reach Mui Ne.
The coastal roads in this area are simply stunning, with azure waters, pristine sands, delectable cuisine, and affordable prices,” Uyen remarked.
This rejuvenating trip was completed within a day. Uyen departed from Ho Chi Minh City at 10 AM, arrived in Mui Ne, and returned by 6:30 PM.
“I will certainly return to Mui Ne soon and delve deeper into this coastal paradise,” Uyen expressed.
The “long slope” has been showcased in numerous TikTok posts, often referred to as the “holy slope” due to its mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views.
Once past this slope, visitors can access Hon Rom Beach, famed for its breathtaking landscapes and unspoiled beaches. The beach boasts crystal-clear, refreshing waters and tranquil, safe surroundings.
Travelers are encouraged to visit Hon Rom early in the morning or late in the afternoon to witness the sunrise or sunset. It serves as an ideal location for camping, offering opportunities for bonfires and stargazing at night.
In close proximity to Hon Rom are the pink sand dunes, a popular tourist attraction.
Mui Ne’s beauty is ever-present. The optimal time to visit is between April and August, when the sea is at its clearest and most invigorating.
From August to December, Mui Ne appeals to surfing enthusiasts and extreme sports fans.
Mui Ne enjoys favorable weather conditions, featuring consistent winds and moderate waves, creating perfect settings for kite surfing.
It is acclaimed as one of Vietnam’s most exquisite beaches, renowned for its transparent waters and safety, devoid of hazardous rocks or coral reefs.
