Paulo Okoye, a well-known Nigerian music executive, has disclosed that Burna Boy holds the title of Nigeria’s richest musician.
According to Okoye, Burna Boy amassed an impressive $80 million in earnings in the year 2023 alone.
During an Instagram live session with popular podcaster Daddy Freeze, Okoye shared this revelation.
He emphasized, “The only artist truly profiting in Nigeria is Burna Boy. He generated a minimum of $80 to $100 million four years ago. Burna Boy stands as the wealthiest.”
“Burna Boy operates on a different echelon. The advantage he holds is his compact team. His team consists of his mother, sister, and a few others, totaling less than eight individuals. Consequently, nearly everyone else involved is either a contractor or a consultant.”
