In response to VP Kamala Harris being endorsed by US President Joe Biden, former Foreign Affairs Minister Bolaji Akinyemi believes Harris will pose a formidable challenge to Donald Trump in the upcoming election.
After Joe Biden exited the presidential race and threw his support behind Kamala Harris as the fresh Democratic nominee, the political landscape witnessed a significant shift.
Biden, in his statement announcing his withdrawal, emphasized that stepping down was a decision made in the interests of his party and the nation.
Expressing his thoughts on the matter during an interview on Arise News, Akinyemi commended Biden’s selection of Kamala Harris as his successor.
Akinyemi remarked that Kamala Harris’s background as Vice President makes her a formidable choice, hinting that underestimating her would be a mistake.
Akinyemi cautioned, “Be wary of Kamala Harris. With her background as an attorney general and prosecutor, she possesses the skills to dissect her opponents effectively. Her victory in the California Senate race securing 60% of the votes underscores her strength as a candidate.”
