The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) has announced the passing of three influential pastors on January 1, 2025.
The individuals who have died include Evangelist Oladotun Elusanmi, Shepherd Olumuyiwa Michael, and Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Johnson Olajuwon.
Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, the church’s Head of Media and Publicity, shared the news about Olajuwon’s passing on the official website of the church.
“We regret to inform you of the passing of Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist (Prophet) Johnson Olajuwon (JJ).
“At the time of his death, he was the prophet for the Celestial Church of Christ, Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa Cathedral, located at the International Headquarters in Ketu.
“His unexpected demise has taken many by surprise, especially as he had actively participated in the cross-over service just before the New Year, full of vitality until he passed that morning.”
Prior to their passing, Elusanmi was the Shepherd of Orisun Ayo Parish in Ilupeju, and Michael led as the Shepherd In-Charge of Christ Testimony Parish in Ikorodu.
Olajuwon was serving at the Celestial Church of Christ’s main cathedral in Ketu, Lagos State.
