Kim Zolciak’s friend Elise Humphries is speaking out after Kroy Biermann allegedly threatened to have her arrested for kidnapping.
In a lengthy statement posted to her Instagram Story Wednesday, Humphries explained that the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum gave her the green light to take their 12-year-old son, KJ, on a playdate to the rodeo with her daughter.
“There was zero kidnapping,” she wrote.
“His mother Kim, who is an incredible mom and friend, gave me permission and brought him to meet me & his two best friends, one is my daughter.”
Humphries alleged the former NFL star only threatened to file kidnapping charges to help his custody case against Zolciak.
“[KJ’s] father, Kroy, is desperately trying to control every move to ensure he gets full custody and child support so he falsely accused me of kidnapping KJ so he can appear as the parent who takes the kids out,” she claimed.
Humphries went on to defend Zolciak, saying that her friend did not “misuse the 911 system” when she called police about the alleged incident on June 16.
“She was terrified I was going to get arrested,” she added.
“Please pray for Kim and the kids because they need them while they navigate Kroy’s narcissistic, controlling behavior.”
In a recording of the 911 call obtained by TMZ, the “Google Me” singer can be heard telling the dispatcher that her son was left “shaking and hysterically crying” over the situation.
Zolciak, 45, ended up declining police support and said she was going to pick up KJ from Humphries because he was “very distraught.”

Sources previously told TMZ that the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker, 37, overreacted about the playdate because he didn’t trust his estranged wife’s friend for unspecified reasons.
Additionally, when he called Humphries to bring KJ home, sources claimed that she hung up on him.
The alleged confrontation comes amid the former Bravo stars’ messy divorce after 11 years of marriage.
The exes share six children, including the “Tardy for the Party” singer’s adult daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21, whom Biermann adopted in 2013.
Divorce documents revealed the former pro athlete demanded Zolciak be drug tested and alleged she had a gambling problem that left him “financially devastated.”
He also claimed in court docs that their six kids needed to be protected from the “RHOA” alum due to her allegedly “abusive” behavior.
Zolciak has since slammed the allegations against her as “harmful” and “lies.”
“It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run,” her lawyer told People earlier this month.
