African Leaders and Medical Tourism in White Man’s Land.

cartoon 1 (via Primetweets)

In Africa our leaders spend their holidays, send their children and wives and concubines abroad with corrupt money or let me put it Tax payers money. Who are the Tax-players (I and You) of course. Every citizens of a nation, one way or the other pay taxes or contribute to the growth of their nation.

However, From East Africa-West and North Africa, the result seems to be the same, our leaders seems to enjoy watching the masses suffer while they ride on their high horse, buy fancy cars and houses and maintain expensive lifestyle benevolent only to them, their families and those who sings their high praises seeing them as the Messiahs instead of ordering criminals stealing our wealth and traveling to other nations and enriching those nations at our expense.

While most times they are not to be blamed when in Africa, the various nations, taken a critical look at them they are highly divided. From ethnic struggle to religious struggles, killing each other at every given turn. While the real enemies of our nations wine and dine in their fancy houses and laugh at the rest of us. Since after slavery, we Africans have found a way to enslave ourselves. Lack of education, infrastructure, adequate electricity, health care system is dragging us back in to the dark ages, all because our leaders have refused to perform their duties and upheld their election promises.

For example, Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari (74) spend a 103 days in London for medical treatment, that is more than three month, a president was missing in action to lead his country while his cables held the country hostage. After he practically promised in his campaign to put an end to medical tourism which some estimate is causing the nation billions of dollars.

In same period Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe (93), spent his time in Singapore for a ”routine medical check-up”. And Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos (74) went to Spain to undergo medical treatment. While our medical systems in Africa are unfunded and undeveloped our leaders abandon to develop them instead enjoy going to a white man country for treatment.

But hey then again, we the people are fools, we are not demanding what we want, we are not fighting hard enough, we are not protesting, we seems to be enjoying smiling while we are suffering. Is time to rise up Africa and demand a better or better treatment from our leaders.
